Self-Protection Talks & Training...

These sessions are designed to help create self awareness, and self confidence, with the added bonus of hands on practice for self protection. All techniques used are for real life situations.

You will learn what to do when walking down the street, the importance of body language, how to NOT look like a victim, things to say and how to avoid conflict. Techniques to boost self confidence are demonstrated, to prevent intimidation by anyone. You will be shown how to become more observant, and which of the states, fight or flight can help or hinder you in different situations. If all else fails, and the situation gets more heated, you will be taught techniques to deal with the most common types of assault.
 
Talks and training will be taken by Grant Hicks, whose Martial Arts experience spans over 20 years, with Public Speaking for over 10 years. His experience includes Thai Boxing, Senior Karate Instructor, Ninjutsu, and SEAL training.

Grant Hicks has presented Corporate workshops for many National and International Companies including Vauxhall, Ford, Audi, Peugeot, as well as attending schools, The Womens Institute, private organisations, and many more.

Un-armed Combat Training...

Specialist training is available on either a one to one basis, or small groups of 2 or more. Please enquire for details. International training available.

Training can be from beginner level to more advanced. You do not have to spend years and years perfecting techniques that do not work in real life.

You will be taught how to handle any situation that you would find yourself in, whether you're in a bar, walking down the street, at work, etc. You will learn how to handle more than one assailant, no matter how large or strong they are. Bring a 6ft man down with one finger easily. Take down a 6ft 5in opponent in less than 2 seconds. Learn that attacking is sometimes the best self defence, whereas a calm manner in other situations will be best. How not to lose your temper. (losing your temper will lose you the fight)

Learn self control, and how to switch on and off immediately.

Learn how to be quicker than anyone alse with certain techniques. Tell tale signs of an opponent and how they plan to attack you (reading them).

Have that total self-confidence to walk down the street without fear. Learn the art of fighting, without fighting.

This training is available to both male and female. Become fitter, faster, and stronger.

Grant has taught children from the age of 5 to students over the age of 70. When teaching Karate classes Grant taught over 180 students a week.
